The Prost
In the beginning was the Word
and the word was Prost!



No-one is quite sure where the Prost came from. Some say it came to President Finty in a Vision, others that it emerged when our MD Dec raised a bleary glass to a certain French racing driver. But wherever it came from the Prost is now recognised as an ancient toast stretching way back into the last Millenium. Never in the annals of drinking history has one phrase meant so much to so many. Not even the very rare 'No, no, put your wallet away, I'll get this one'.
Prosting is easy once you learn the basic Mantra. The order of the toast goes:
'Top, Bottom, Down, Drink, Down "Hoi!" where Top & Bottom refer to your beer glass and Down refers to the table.

The Hoi! shout is accompanied by the drinking hand (thumb down) being jerked downwards at the same time as everyone else. The video has got all you need to know so either learn it by heart first, or else bring yer laptop to your local wi-fi pub and log on again with some friends and a pint!
